Just Recently, Ghanaians had a sawy of heavy relief on social media after hearing the news of Stevie Wonder's plan to relocate to Ghana inorder to spend the rest of his days.

Considering the fact that many outsiders have also expressed their deep love for the nation after they paid her a visit while others never did.

Stevie Wonder's Story is no different from what we have been seeing and hearing and it's a number of times for the same reason why they love this country - a peaceful environment.

Stevie Wonder, the 22-times Grammy award-winning musician disclosed in an interview that he wants to find a place of real rest and has chosen Ghana over all other African States as his favorite location.



He disclosed his decision to move to Ghana in an interview with Oprah Winfrey not long ago and it immediately started making the headlines.

“…I want to see this nation smile again. And I want to see it before I leave to travel to move to Ghana, because I’m going to do that”.

“I don’t want to see my children’s, children children have to say ‘oh please like me, please respect me, please know that I am important, please value me’. What is that?” he asked.

Wonder revealed that due to unfulfilled expectations, regarding racism in the US, he's been so long waiting for resolutions and that kept him delayed in his plan to build a peaceful place at his ancestral homeland.

Meanwhile it could also be recalled at the very beginning of 2021 that popular African American rapper, Meek Mill expressed similar thoughts of building a home in Ghana.
